Our little Asher is 2 months old. He is growing like crazy, or so I thought. At his Well-baby check-up I was told he is measuring small. he went from the 30% to the 10%. What the heck. I thought everything was going so well. He looks bigger. He has grown out of newborn onsies. I don’t get it. So just when I thought Asher was nursing so much better than Liam I’m told that really Asher is having one of the same problems Liam did. Too lazy to drink the hindmilk. I’m in no way a lazy eater and if you know the Andelin’s they are not lazy eaters either. So we will see how it goes in the next few weeks. See if he gets bigger.
Anyway here are Asher’s Stats and developments
- Weight: 10lbs 4oz (10th percentile)
- Height: 22 1/2 inches (45th percentile)
- Head: 38 inches (20th percentile)
- smiling since birth, but now does it socially, and A LOT.
- pretty sure he is a Mama’s boy (I love it, unless I don’t have time to love it)
- holds head up
- already loves to stand up
- likes looking at himself in the mirror
- likes playing on his play mat. I’m trying to figure out if he is purposefully trying to hit the toys of if it’s all reflexes.
- sleeps at least 7 to 8 hours a night.
- so far travels really well (we’ve only been to Enoch so far)
- scared of mine and Jamon’s sneezing
Although I have declared over and over again that Asher is quite smiley, I could only catch one on camera. It wasn’t that he wasn’t smiling, my small zoom lens broke so I have to stand far away to get my bigger zoom lens to work, so by the time I was in position to take his picture the smiling had stopped. I tried to enlist Liam to help me, but he just wanted his picture taken. I’ll post some of those pictures later.

Cute boy! I think he is looking more like you Staci!
Don't worry about those percentiles - Kaleb has always been in the 10th percentile until recently, when he went to a dr. visit and is now in the 20th (yeah!) And Kaleb eats a lot too! He is just a little short for his age, but still very strong and athletic. Maybe he is just a late bloomer, who knows, but he's super healthy, so that's most important right?
He is so super duper CUTE! Jamon shared a little with me about your frustrations with the nursing and all that. I think Asher is perfect!
xoxo
P.S. I am scared of Jamon's sneezing too!
you make cute babies. good job.
Now, can we some pics of Whitney?;)
He is sooooo cute, Staci! We missed you and your boys in NV. :)
