Also every year after Thanksgiving my family packs up and heads to the mountains to cut down our Christmas Trees. There's not much that smells better then a fresh cut pine tree! This year I went with my parents, brother Wade and his Family, sister Jodee, brother Daniel and Jamon. There was no snow in Cedar City but once we headed up the canyon there was patches of snow and by the time we turned to where we were going there was about a foot of snow on the roads. It was great!! Jamon and I didn't bring any warm snow clothes, so we looked great in whatever clothes we could find at my parents house. We stayed warm, but my feet were so wet.
Jamon and I didn't have to search long for a great tree, but on our hunt for a saw we forgot about that tree and found the perfect tree. Our first Christmas Tree together. It was Great!!

Dang, that is an amazing tree, almost as beautiful as my bride-to-be. (sappy I know) Also, I thought the house was pretty sweet, definitely the best one I've ever made, what a shame I didn't design it also because then I could take full credit for its splendor.
That is a nice tree. I really Really REally want our tree now!! Daron said it might be another week...hmmm...I am impatient,
The kids made gingerbread houses with their Halloween candy this year. It helped them not eat so much, and now they are so hard, they wont eat them.HA HA HA Am I a scrooge?
that is a great tree. It is a good thing you forgot the saw and had to go looking for it or you would have missed the "perfect tree".
That tree is sooo pretty! It looks like a blue spruce. How funny, I just posted about our CHristmas tree adventure, then checked your blog and found yours! So much fun! Its fun for you guys to start traditions together.
BY the way, your gingerbread house looks amazing! If its any indication of how your real first house will be decorated, it will be so cute!
You've probably already taken it down. But that's a dang good lookin' tree.
